Encouraging responsible tourism

I teamed with the Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Center, California State Parks, County of Santa Barbara, Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes National Wildlife Refuge, and the Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County to educate and orient visitors to the largest dune ecosystem on Earth along California’s scenic central coast.

We started with a compact map format and filled it with eye-catching photos and “selfie spot” tips for popular points of interest. The map integrated need-to-know information for visitors in an easy-to-follow layout with the goals of increasing awareness of the dunes ecosystem and encouraging responsible tourism.
