Compelling visuals for media coverage

I teamed with the Guadalupe Nipomo Dunes Center (DC) to capture aerial and ground video footage and photos to share their story with the media and document the project for a future exhibit. We recorded aerial and ground images of archeologists excavating a perfectly intact 300-pound plaster sphinx head from Cecil B. DeMille’s 95-year-old The Ten Commandments movie set, which was buried in the dunes preserve.

The video and photos resulted in a compelling press kit package that offered a detailed look at the project. The photos and footage appeared in international, national, and regional social media, newspapers, and television, including NBC Nightly NewsCBS This Morning, and National Geographic’s Drain the Oceans.
